Mechanism of Action
GHK-Cu binds copper(II) ions with high affinity, and gene expression analysis has associated it with modulation of collagen-related pathways, VEGF signaling, and markers of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity. Research has used it to study fibroblast proliferation, extracellular matrix remodeling, and copper-dependent signaling in skin biology models.
